About the Sirens

Welcoming, enchanting and formidable – the sirens of mythology gave voice to the waves, embodying their relentless and inspiring nature. As the first independent supporters group for San Diego Wave Fútbol Club, the Sirens strive to amplify the voices of our players and community at large. By organizing together, whether that’s showing up for our team on match day, supporting our communities, or advocating for the safety and well-being of our players, team, and fans, we can leverage our collective strength. 

An inclusive group, Sirens celebrate our diverse heritages by welcoming all bodies as Sirens bodies, recognizing that fútbol is for all.  United together by our love for the beautiful game, the Sirens are committed to creating and maintaining a supporters' group that empowers and supports our authentic selves.

What is a supporters group?

Here in SD, we're the bubble-blowing, drum-beating, cheer-happy group of folks who provide the electric, energetic soundtrack and experience you have at every home match. We believe that Match Days are meant to be fun and communal. As Sirens, we strive to include anyone that supports this endeavor and want you to know that every body is a Siren body! Learn more about us at our home in The Cove (designated supporters section seating); even if your tickets aren’t in our section, you are always welcome to join us!

Support the players, staff, and club - on and off the field, match day or not.

Invite others to join. Everyone is welcome in The Cove!

Respect all individuals and recognize that their bodies have different needs.; There is no one way to support the team; we just want you here!

Encourage the love, awareness, and spread of professional soccer, particularly for those who have been underrepresented including women, trans, and non-binary individuals, locally, nationally, and globally.

Nurture a proactive, inclusive community that contributes to, engages with, and builds up a spirit that is bigger than each of us.

Stand up against acts of hatred or abuse. Discrimination towards any group or individuals is antithetical to our purpose and will not be tolerated in The Cove.
